Death of a “Mother in Israel.”

Another landmark of Cartersville has disappeared.  A good “mother in Israel” has departed.  Mrs. HARRISON, one of the oldest citizens of our town, died at 9 o’clock Tuesday night after a lingering illness of five months, which she bore with great fortitude.  She was a good neighbor, beloved by all who knew her.  Her home was always one of hospitality.  The latch-string of her door always hung on the outer side.  She was a true friend and a most affectionate mother.  Her children loved and honored her in life and will revere her memory in death.  Her neighbors will not soon forget her.  She was in the 85th year of her age.  Peace to her ashes.  May the turf grow green over her grave.
