A Fatal Accident.

Premature discharge of a load of dynamite cause one death and slightly wounds others at the Guyton Mine. The Coroner’s inquest returns a verdict of accident. {Except: “The convicts were being worked at the Guyton Mines, about four miles from Cartersville, and Mr. John Goode had charge of the blast which exploded with such fatal results. The negro who was killed was Ed Hatcher, who was sent up from Floyd County for five years.”
