Serious Afflictions.

Last week Rev. Mr. Headden, of the Baptist church, in this place lost a very interesting child.  Rev. T. E. Smith, of the Presbyterian church lost a son last week and another child this week.  We deeply sympathize with both of these afflicted families, and hope they may each fully realize the saying of Christ, “Suffer little children to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
