Charles Hicks Dies Thursday In Hospital Here

Charles Holden (Bunk) Hicks, 68, of Cartersville passed away at 8 a.m. Thursday, December 2, in a local hospital, following a short illness.

Mr. Hicks was a retired painter. He was a single man.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 3 at the Owen Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Andrew Haman and the Rev. A.F. Pope officiating.

Interment followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville.

Survivors include one sister, Miss Grace Hicks, of Cartersville, and two brothers, Howard Hicks of Baton Rouge, La., and R.L. Hicks, of Atlanta.
