Ms. Blaine Hightower, age 84, formerly of 342 Gilmer Street, Cartersville, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at Southern Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday morning at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, with Rev. Clark Hutchinson and Father Philip Scott officiating.  Interment will follow in the family plot at Oakhill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Smith, Louis Barton, Benson Barton, Marianne James, Dud Barton IV.

The family will receive friends after 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 21, 2000 at Barton Funeral Home.
