Died From Meningitis.

Tom Hilson, colored, came up last Tuesday evening from Atlanta, where he had been attacked with meningitis. He lingered along with the disease until Thursday morning, when he died. Tom was a son of rev. James Hilson, was well thought of by his own race and possessed the good will of many white people. He had also won many friends in Atlanta during his sojourn there. He was buried Sunday and the funeral was a very large one.
