Dora Mae Dotson Holcomb, 86, departed this life as we know it for a joyous reunion with her husband and son on Jan. 24, 2000, at her home in Hollywood, Ga., ending her heroic battle with cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 at Hollywood Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Holbrook and Rev. Ric Veal officiating and with eulogies given by Lois Wood Schroyer and Nancy Robbins.  Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.  The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
