Virginia W. Holland, 80, of Maple Drive, Cartersville, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000.

Mrs. Holland was born July 30, 1919, in Barrow County, a daughter of the late James Albert Williams Sr. and Annie Laurie Durham Williams, was a homemaker and a member of Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the Jackson Link.

Surviving are her husband, Avery C. Holland of Cartersville, two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Tom Mroczko and Laurie and Bobbie Weaver, all of Cartersville, four grandchildren, Jonathan and Justin Weaver, Amy and John Mroczko and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. from Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Edwards and the Rev. Martha Fielden officiating.  Burial followed in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, was in charge of the arrangements
