Death of Mrs. Holmes.

Mrs. L. A. Holmes died at her home in this city some ten days ago.  Her husband was a well known carpenter who came to Cartersville from Athens a quarter of a century ago and after remaining a number of years moved back to that city, where he died.  She left no immediate relatives here except a son of an adopted daughter, little Louis Poindexter, who was only about eleven years of age.  Her remains were interred at Oak Hill.  Mrs. Holmes was a good Christian woman, and was beliked by all who knew her.
