Linwood. Since our last report, Miss Sallie Hood has died, after a long lingering [illness] with consumption. She suffered here, but her sufferings are ended, and she has joined the happy throng, where there will be no more sickness nor sorrow or death, but peace, joy and happiness forever more. She was a true Christian for many years. She leaves three brothers to mourn her death, besides a host of friends. |
