Died. – At the residence of his brother-in-law, Jesse James, in Cassville, Ga., on Monday, May 31st, of dropsy of the chest, Mr. Samuel M. Hood, who was born in Knoxville, Tenn., March 25th, 1808, and was, when he died sixty-one years, one month and six days old.
