Fiest Hyde of Pine Log died Friday morning in a Marietta hospital.

He is suvived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Helen Ray, Pine Log, and Mrs. Geraldine Easterwood, Marietta, seven sons, Jimmy, Gene, and Charles, all of Cartersville; Bobby of Fairmount, Jackie of Douglasville, and Joel and Billy Joe of Rydal; a sister, Mrs. Kathleen Cox, Nashville, a brother, Mote Hyde of Rome; seveal grandchildren and great grand- children.

Funeral was Sunday at 2 p.m. from Pleasant Olive Baptist Church in Rydal.   Revs. Dean Goss and Charles Latham were in charge.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  The body was at the resident on U.S. 411 in Pine Log. Max Brannon and Son Funeral Home of Calhoun was in charge of the arrangements.
