Mrs. Hyde Dies After Long Illness

Mrs. Frances Elbee Hyde, 32, died in a local hospital Thursday after a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held at Mispah church in Floyd County Saturday at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. J.D. Booth and Luther Porter officiating.

Mrs. Hyde, wife of W.F. (Bill) Hyde, was born in Cherokee county Jan. 5, 1917. She was the daughter of Joe E. Knox and Frances Watson Knox.

Survivors are her husband, one daughter, Elaine; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Brooks, Cartersville, Mrs. Jack Ellison, Kennesaw; and Mrs. B. Cagle, Emerson; three brothers, W.C. Knox, Atlanta; O.S. and Watson Knox, both of Cartersville.

Pall bearers were Pierce Hughes, Jim Smith, Odelle Chambers, George Chambers, John Lusk, and Byron Gramlin.
