Died in Jail.

Gus Irby died in the Cartersville jail last Friday of consumption. This is the second one of the three brothers who were convicted at the January term of court of killing old man Simon Upshaw, near Cassville last fall, Watt Irby having died about three months ago. They were convicted of murder, and an appeal is now pending before the supreme court. Jeff Irby, the one now left in jail, has been complaining and will probably follow the others before the end of his case.
