MISS IRICK.

Miss Margaret L. (Maggie) Irick, 95, of 205 West Cherokee Avenue, died Thursday, November 15, 1979, following a lingering illness.

Miss Irick was a native of Bartow County, as a member of the Sam Jones Memorial First United Methodist Church and was a retired teacher.

A daughter of the late James Laird Irick and Sarah Gibbons Irick, Miss Irick was preceded in death by her sister, Miss Nancy Elizabeth (Dinks) Irick, in 1974 and is survived by several cousins.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the Alexander Chapel of the Sam Jones Memorial First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Harp and the Rev. Frank Jenkins officiating. Interment followed in the Cassville cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Evans Strickland, Clayton Shaw, Holmes Neel, Thomas Champion Jr., John Fleetwood, and John Knight.

Owen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
