Mrs. M. E. Jackson, who has been very sick for several months, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Dr. C. N. Mayson, at 11 a. m., March 23d, and her remains were taken to Greensboro, Ga., on the 24th instant, by her daughter, Mrs. Mayson and her son, Mr. Jackson, and interred in the old family burying ground.  Mrs. Jackson was very old.  She had been gradually sinking for several weeks.  She received the best attention from her daughter and son and Dr. Mayson.  Her death was not a surprise to anyone as she had been in a dying condition for several weeks.
