A Sudden Death. Miss Emma Johnson, daughter of Mr. J. A. Johnson, died very suddenly Monday afternoon. A sister of hers, who had been ill for some time, had something like a spasm, and Miss Johnson ran for assistance. When she had gotten outside the door she fell to the ground. She was picked up and carried into the house where restoratives were applied. She got some better, but in a few moments she raised her head and fell back on the pillow dead. Her remains were interred in Oak Hill cemetery Tuesday afternoon. The family have the sympathy of all in their affliction. |
