Administrator’s Sale

Agreeably to an order passed by the Ordinary of Cass county, will be sold before the court house door in the town of Cassville, on the first Tuesday in June next, within the usual hours of sale, the following negroes, as the property of George W. Jones, late of the State of Arkansas, deceased.  All said negroes are very likely and used to farming.

Oscar, a man 48 years old, black.  Rose, a woman, 32, black.  Edy a woman and child 26, child, 18 months old.  Washington a boy, 6, black.  Nelson a boy 4 black.  Susan a girl, 9 black.  Mat a boy 14, Mulatto.  Marcus, a boy 12, mulatto.

All the above negroes sold for the benefit of the heirs and creditors of said deceased.  Terms made known on the day of sale.
