Death of Mrs. Nancy Jones.

At the home of her son, Colonel C. M. Jones, near Emerson, Mrs. Nancy L. Jones died last Monday night. She was in her 85th year, having been born in 1805. She was the mother of several children, only one of whom is now living. She has now living 18 grandchildren and 60 great-grandchildren.

The funeral occurred yesterday at the Emerson Methodist church, of which she was a member. She has given sixty-eight years of her life to Christ, all of which time she has ever been faithful to her sacred vows. The fruits of such a life will long live after her. All of her children were members of the church and all of the grand-children are now members. Truly a good woman has gone. Peace to her ashes.
