Final Rites Observed For William M. Kennedy

W. M. Kennedy, Plains, a native of Bartow County, died last week at his home.

Mr. Kennedy was the son of the late J. D. Kennedy and Sara Franks Kennedy, well known Bartow County family, and made his home at Taylorsville for a number of years.

Funeral services were held last Saturday at Taylorsville.  The Rev. Lee officiated at the services, held in the Baptist Church.

Survivors include four brothers, G. E. Kennedy, Tampa; R. E. Kennedy, Cartersville; J. D. Kennedy, Rome, and H. E. Kennedy, Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, W. E. Kennedy, Greenville, S. C., and Capt. J. M. Kennedy of the U. S. Army; and a sister, Mrs. C. R. Auchmutey, Cartersville.  Mr. Kennedy’s wife was the late Kate Harris Kennedy.
