Mrs. R. N. Kerr, died at her home near here, Sunday morning last, at one o’clock, aged seventy six years and three months. She was buried at Mount Carmel cemetery, Monday 21 st, inst at 12 noon. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. England, her pastor, assisted by Rev. Mr. Edwards, Baptist.

She was a good woman, greatly beloved by her neighbors, who will miss her. She was a devoted mother, being always ready to administer to her children’s necessities whenever called upon.

She leaves two sons and three daughters Mrs. Coleman, of Texas, who was deprived of the privilege of administering to her mother’s comfort during her long and painful illness. Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Hall, who were with her to the end. She was paralyzed in March, and never recovered from the first stroke. Her husband has been helpless over eight years, and through all these years she has been faithful to him, always ready to go to his call.
