Mrs. Kimbrel rites Thursday

Mrs. Rosetta B. Kimbrel, 97, of Route 1, White, died Tuesday September 5, 1978, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Kimbrel was a native of Paulding County, a Baptist and a housewife.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson Kimbrel, in 1950.

Survivors include two sons, Ward Kimbrel, Gainesville, and Paul Kimbrel, of White; daughters, Evie Heath and Grace Kay, both of White; Iduma Lewis, of Cartersville; and Elmira Lewis, of Fairmount; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Dewey Baptist Church with the Rev. Pat Kennedy officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Grady Crider, Jerry and Glenn Kimbrel, Kimbrel C. Heath, David and Danny Burns.

Owen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
