Hall’s Mill. Again on the 10th inst., Mr. Tommie Kitchens, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Kitchens, died of pneumonia fever, aged near sixteen years. Tommie was a good boy, having given his heart to God when a mere child, and ever afterwards as he grew older, seemed to be willing to do all that he could to show to the world that there was a reality in religion, ever being faithful in attending the Sunday school and prayer meeting. His seat never was vacated until he was taken sick one week ago last Friday, and it was a wonder really Tommie was not out the following Sunday, but the sad news came that he was sick. All hearts go out in sympathy for Mr. and Mrs. Kitchens and family. The funeral services were conducted by rev. John W. Edwards. |
