Death of Mrs. Knight.

Mrs. Caroline Knight, wife of Mr. Aaron Knight, of this city, die last Tuesday evening, at 6 o’clock, after a painful illness of about twelve days.

Mrs. Knight was born in North Carolina, and was in the 43d year of her age when she died.

She was a consistent member of the Methodist Church, and was loved by her friends and respected by all who knew her. She died as she had lived, a Christian. “Let me live the life of the Christian, and let my last end be like his.” She leaves a husband, a son and many relations and friends to mourn her death. Her remains were interred in Oak Hill Cemetery Wednesday evening at 3 o’clock.
