Obituary.

Mrs. Francis Lewis was born in Laurens C. H., S. C., May 11th, 1820, and died at her home near Adairsville, Ga., August 20th, 1889. Early in life she gave her heart to the Lord, and in all her ways of life she exemplified the truthfulness of the religion of Christ.

Our sister was a woman of gentle spirit, kind and affectionate in disposition, a tender and faithful wife and mother, a consistent friend, a helpful; neighbor and an humble, devout Christian. May the Lord comfort the bereaved husband and children, and may they meet on the resurrection morn, a reunited family “where there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying.”—A. J. Buford.
