It appearing to the court from the petition of N. J. Kennett, that Nancy A. Lockridge, executrix and James W. Lockridge, executor of James Lockridge, deceased, have removed from the State of Georgia and are neglecting to discharge the duties of their trust as executors and fail and refuse to discharge their duties as such executors to the injury of said estate and the legatees.

It is ordered by the court that said Nancy A. Lockridge and James W. Lockridge show cause at the next term of this court why they should not be removed from office and Mrs. N. J. Kennett or some other suitable person should not be appointed administrator with the will annexed of said James Lockridge.  And it appearing to the court that the said Nancy A. Lockridge and James W. Lockridge both reside out of said county and state and cannot be served in person with a copy of this Rule it is ordered by the court that a copy hereof be published in the Cartersville American once a week for four weeks.  Granted this March 1st 1886.

Administrator’s Sale.
Georgia, Bartow County.

By virtue of an order from the Court of Ordinary of Bartow county, Ga., will be sold to the highest bidder before the Court House door in Cartersville, said county, within the legal sale hours, on the first Tuesday in December, 1886, the following property to wit: Lots of land numbers 295, 296 and 297, also lot number 288, all in the 4th district and 3rd section of Bartow county, Ga., each lot containing forty acres, more or less.  Sixty acres cleared and under fence, balance in woods.  Improvements ordinary.  Sold as the property of the estate of James Lockridge, dec’d, to pay debts and for distribution.  Terms of sale cash.  Oct. 30th, 1886.
