After a long suffering with Christian fortitude, Mr. Jno. W. Martin died at the residence here Monday evening at 2 o’clock, age 75. Full sympathy in both friends and relatives were accorded him in his last moments. His remains were interred at Oothcaloga cemetery Tuesday at 2 o’clock, p. m. Mr. Martin come to this county thirty years ago, and was for a long time identified with the best interest in town, and at his death he left behind a record unstained and a character that will always be honored. Peace to his ashes, a rosebud on his grave, and our extended sympathies to the bereaved.
