Horribly Mangled.
George McClendon Killed Under the Cars, at Rome.
His Body Cut Half In Two.
Track Has to be Torn up in Order to remove the Mangled Body from Between the Rails.

The Rome Hustler tells the harrowing story of the death of Cleo McClendon last Saturday as follows:

His body cut in half.

That was the horrible fate of Cleo McLendon (sic) yesterday morning.

Mr. McLendon was about 19 years of age and a son of Mr. W. S. McLendon, of East Rome. [Article continues, remains interred at Fellowship church]
