G.B. McGuire, 73, Dies at Kingston

George Bargie McGuire, age 73, died Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Tim Adams in Kingston, Ga. Mr. McGuire is survived by his wife, Mrs. Allie Biggers McQuire, two sons, G.B. McGuire, Jr. of Kingston, and John McGuire of Forsyth. Seven daughters, Mrs. Arthur Hudgins, Mrs. Scott Richey, Mrs. C.D. Ramplye, Mrs. O.L. Floyd, all of Rome. Mrs. Roy Brown and Mrs Tim Adams of Kingston, and Mrs. John Mize of Forsyth, ten grandchildren; two brothers, J. E. McGuire of Atlanta and Henry McGuire of Calhoun.

Funeral services was conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Mr. Caramel Methodist Church at Hall Station, with Rev. A. W. Allen officiating. Internment was in the church yard cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Sherman, Rex Sherman, Wildkes Sherman, Dave Wilson, Joe Wheeler, Frank Neal Hargis, Ernest Andrews and Charles Lee.

Barton Funeral Home of Adairsville was in charge of arrangements.
