John McKinne, one of the oldest citizens of Augusta, died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, of last week, at the residence of his son-in-law, J. E. Barton. He was born in Brooklyn, N. Y. in the year 1800, and came to Augusta in 1825, where he has lived ever since.
