Mrs. Jane McMiken died at McMicken’s Mill, the residence of her son, W. H. McMicken, at the age of 85, being our next oldest inhabitant.  Her maiden name was Armstrong, and she came from Paulding.  She was the mother of Messrs. Billy and Charley McMicken, of this district, besides a family of sons and daughters residing out of it.
