Entered at Rest.

Tuesday, June 6, 1893 at 3:45 p. m. Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, the beloved wife of Mr. W. B. Miller, in the 28 th year for her life. “So He giveth His beloved sleep.”

Mrs. Miller was born in Milwaukee, Wis., June 24, 1865. She removed to Cartersville about four years ago, and had won for herself a large circle of warm friends, who sincerely mourn her loss. For many weeks she has been a great sufferer under the dreaded disease which finally ended on Tuesday afternoon.

Three weeks ago a little child, a boy baby, came to bless the home, and thus soon left without a mother, but the fond affection of a father for his only child will care for the little one with more than a father’s love,

One year ago Mrs. Miller, and her husband united themselves with the Episcopal church and was confined (sic) together at the church in this city. She has been all her life a devoted Christian and departed in faith to enter the rest of the people of God.

Miss Miller Smith, sister of the deceased, came several weeks ago, and has watched with Mr. Miller, by the bedside of the sick, with unceasing care and devotion. She will remain some time and care for the little one.

The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Geo. E. Benedict, at the home, and the remains were laid to rest at Oak Hill cemetery yesterday afternoon.

The sympathy of our whole community goes out to Mr. Miller in his sad bereavement.
