Little Ethel.

Sacred to the memory of little Ethel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Monroe, who died near Cartersville, June 19th, 1886 –age, one year and six months.

Ethel, darling, thou art gone,
To that bright world above,
To dwell with angels in that land,
Where all is joy and peace and love.
We sadly miss thy dear sweet face,
Thy little prattle we cannot hear;
High up in Heaven thou art at rest,
Our little treasure, Ethel dear.
We oft shall tears of sorrow shed
Around your little grave,
But baby dear, we know thy art
Transplanted in Heaven above.
--One Who Loved Her.
