The Rome Courier gives an account of the accidental death of Mr. M. J. Morgan.  He and his wife were visiting the family of Mr. L. S. Scroggins in Chattooga county.  Mr. M. had been hunting and having to cross a stream near the house he had started to row across, his wife hearing the movement of the oars a moment previous to the discharge of the gun.  A jar is supposed to have caused it to fire.  The ball went through the neck.
