Mrs. Addie Irene Mullinax, 87, of 376 Old Mill Road, Cartersville, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 3, 1911, in Gordon County, daughter of the late Marcus L. Allen and Elizabeth Bowling Allen. Mrs. Mullinax was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carter Mullinax; and one son, Jackie Mullinax.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Danny Cain and Dolores and C.R. Reid, all of Cartersville; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Sandra Mullinax of Cartersville; two sisters, Mary Ferguson and Annie Crawford, both of Calhoun; one brother, William P. Allen of Woodstock; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 24, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Danny Cain and Rev. Heath Ferguson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to United Hospice, 1195 Curtis Parkway, Calhoun, Ga., 30701.
Pallbearers include Kenneth Casey, Jeff Nicholson, Daniel Cain, Ricky Millwood and Ron Henson. They are asked to meet at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements
