The body of Mr. John D. Murchison who died in Atlanta at the home of his sister, was brought through here last Saturday and taken to Raccoon church for burial.  Mr. Murchison made his home in Cartersville several years and many years in the county, but lately had been with one or the other of his children.  He was a soldier in the civil war, being a member of the First Georgia Cavalry.
