Hall’s Mill. Our community has been shrouded in sadness and gloom for the last ten days. The first sad intelligence was the death of Mr. Charlie Neville, which occurred in Atlanta last Tuesday night, the 7th inst. His remains were brought to this place on Thursday and were buried in the Mount Carmel cemetery by the locomotive brotherhood. A large crowd in attendance. Charlie was admired and loved by everyone who knew him. He was reared an orphan, his parents dying when he was quite a child. He was a fireman on the Western and Atlantic railroad and highly esteemed by all. |
