Resolutions of Respect.

Departed this life Nov. 3, 1890, at his home in Bartow county, Ga., from malarial fever. Whereas it has pleased an all wise Providence to remove from us by death Newton J. Owens to his reward beyond the skies, therefore be it
Resolved, That in the death of Brother Newton J. Owens, this lodge has lost a most worthy member, the alliance a noble brother, the community a good neighbor, the county one of its best citizens, his mother a dutiful son, and his brothers and sister an affectionate and loving brother.

Resolved, That we bow in humble submission to Him who doeth all things after the counsels of His own will.
Resolved, That we tender to his bereaved mother and loved ones our heartfelt sympathies in their sad bereavement.
Resolved, That these resolutions be spread upon our minute book, a copy be sent to the mother and loved ones, also a copy be sent to the Southern Alliance Farmer and Courant-American for publication.
Read and adopted by Oak Grove alliance.

A. H. Morris,
