Singular and Fatal Accident. One day the early part of last week a little child about eighteen months old of Mr. Wm. Padgett, who lives on Mr. H. E. Wolfe’s place, near Cassville, lost its life in a very peculiar manner. The little one was playing alone about a keg that was filled with water, out in yard. Leaning over the keg, it lost its balance and going into the water headforemost was unable to extricate itself before being drowned. The parents finding the child after some time, were horrified and terribly grief stricken. |
