Death of R. Sidney Pattillo.

Mr. R. Sidney Pattillo, formerly of this city, died at the home of his father-in-law, at Seney, Floyd county, on Wednesday of last week, the result of paralysis of the brain. On the morning before he was found unconscious in bed and no restorative would avail anything. Physicians from Rome were sent for and when they arrived they pronounced the case hopeless and so on the day named above he breathed his last. His remains were brought to this city last Friday with Masonic ceremonies, of which order he was a devoted member.

Mr. Pattillo was forty-one years of age, an industrious and kind hearted man. Here, where he was reared, he numbered his friends by the score. He leaves a wife and sorrowing parents to mourn his loss.
