Death of Mr. Thomas Pick. Mr. Thomas Pick died at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. C. H. Williams, on Sunday morning last. For seven years past he had suffered from injuries received by a fall on the ice while living in the north. He received some internal injuries and his back was badly wrenched. Mr. Pick came to this city from Tonawanda, N. Y., about four years ago, accompanying his son-in-law Mr. Williams, and his son, Mr. George Pick, who had established some mining relations here. Mr. Pick was seventy-five years of age and was a consistent Christian and faithful and dutiful member of the Methodist church. His remains were interred at Oak Hill Cemetery on Monday, the funeral services being conducted at the home of Mr. Williams by Revs. Quillian and McDougall. |
