Ms. Mollie Power, 88, of 495 Hwy 293, Cartersville, died Sunday, March 7, 1999 at the Cartersville Medical Center.

She was born on May 10, 1910 in Bartow County, the daughter of the late James Cabe and Mattie Ponder Cabe. Ms. Power was retired from Bell Aircraft. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Betty Hastings; and two sons, James and Doyle Power.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Ethelean Power; one granddaughter, Tammy; one grandson, Terry Power; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and one special niece, Minnie Cabe, who she lived with for a long time.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 1999 in he Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Francis Summey officiating. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers include Doyle Cabe, Ricky Cabe, Jeff Hardin, Tommy Mizes, Joe Cosby and Donald Hillard. They are asked to meet at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
