Mr. Joseph Verlin Prather, age 70, of 1406 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy., Apt. 4, Cartersville, died Feb. 25, 2000 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000 with the Rev. Charles McPherson officiating.  Interment will follow in Emerson City Cemetery.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
