Mr. Walter Ransom, after several weeks suffering, departed this life at the residence of his father, Mr. J. H. Ransoom, near Eves Station, on the Rome railroad, at 5 o’clock a. m., July 22d. Walter was a worthy young man, 26 years old. His many friends and acquaintances are very sad over his death, and all tender their sympathies to the bereaved ones.
