Mrs. Ilean Reed Mrs. Ilean Reed, 65, Plainville, died Monday afternoon in a Rome hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Bartow County June 21, 1910, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fletcher. She joined the Gore Spring Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Bathsedia Baptist Church in Plainville where she served on the Usher Board, Senior Choir and various committees until her illness. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Odessa Donehue, Toledo, Ohio, and Mrs. Maggie Harper, Plainville; three sons, Elbert Reed, Jr., Columbus, Ohio, Robert Reed and Clifford Reed, Rome; her mother, Mrs. Bert Fletcher, Plainville; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Bethsedia Baptist Church with Revs. W.H. Whatley, Holbert Allen and other ministers officiating. Burial will be in Gore Spring Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Harper, Plainville, and at the residence of Mrs. Bertha Brewer, 508 Branham Ave. The funeral procession will leave the residence of Mrs. Brewer, 508 Branham Ave. at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Wright Memorial Mortuary has charge of arrangements. |
