“Doings in Bartow—Corbin.”

Just as the last rays of the evening sun shown down on last Thursday the grim monster made his appearance and claimed for his victim Mr. James C. Rogers. He has been helpless for some months with paralysis. He was 84 year’s of age and was one of the oldest settlers of this county. He had cut over 500 sets of mill stones, cutting the first set ever used in Atlanta. He leaves one son and several grand children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
