Mr. T. A. Rogers, the aged father of Messrs. D. W. and Morgan Rogers of Etowah, died at his home near Stilesboro last week and was buried in the Euharlee cemetery, Rev. S. W. Newell, officiating. The deceased has long been a good citizen of our county and his death is much lamented by all who knew him.

“Etowah Etchings.”

It is with sorrow I chronicle the death of Mr. T. A. Rogers, father of the Messrs. Rogers, which occurred at the residence of his son, D. W. Rogers, at this place last Saturday evening about 2 o’clock, after a few weeks illness. He had just returned from Florida where he has been spending the winter for his health, but the “land of flowers” failed to restore him.
