“Over The County.”

Grassdale.

Mr. Wm. Rowland, who has been sick for a long time, died a little after 9 o’clock on Sunday morning.  He was buried at the X roads church on Monday about 12 o’clock, Rev. Alford Buford preaching his funeral to nearly the church full of friends.  Another good man had been called up higher.  He gave all assurance that death had no pangs for him, and that he truly was a child of God.  This, indeed, is comforting to his dear wife and children that he has left behind, and is one more inducement to make them strive the harder to reach the heaven of the blest.  The sympathy of the whole neighborhood goes out to the bereaved family.
