Mrs. America Sansom, of Athens, relict of the late Thomas Sansom, of that city, and the mother of Mrs. C. G. Trammell, of this place, died last week, near eighty years old.  She was indeed “a mother in Israel” and her death was a glorious triumph of a Christian life.
