Mr. Roland Edward Sellers, 63, of 491 Tom Jones Road, Kingston, died Monday, Dec. 21.

He was born Nov. 10, 1935, in Grovetown, Ga., son of Nellie Rickerson Sellers and the late Edwin Thurman Sellers.  He was a member and deacon of the Central Baptist Church.   He was retired as a blending technician at Shaw Industries.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Sellers, Kingston; three daughters, Deborah Diane Newsome, Fayetteville, N.C., Elizabeth Elaine Cothran, Dalton, and Jacqueline Mitchell, Kingston; three sons, Gregory Allen Sellers, and Steven Adam Sellers, Cartersville, and Jonathan Scott Mitchell, Kingston; his mother, Nellie R. Sellers; brother Woodrow Sellers, Harlen; sister, Lori Jean Davidson, Harlen; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m until 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Central Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24 with Rev. Charles Moore officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. The men of Central Baptist Church will be pallbearers.

The Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
